VP of Production
Located in the northern part of the Green River Basin, the Pinedale Anticline Field is one of the largest natural gas fields in the United States. Although not relatively big in area (roughly 30 miles long and less than 5 miles wide), the nearly 6,000-foot-long column of pay makes this a very concentrated gas source. Opportunity remains to add significant reserves and parts of the field are currently being developed with vertical gas wells on 5-acre well density. The associated surface “footprint” is comparably small, with most of the development occurring off multiple-well surface pads.
Pinedale Energy Partners Operating manages “Development Area 1” (DA1) located in the northern extent of the field. Within the DA1, we operate over 1,100 producing wells, making approximately 435 MMCF per day of natural gas and 3,000 BOPD at the beginning of 2018.
